		Lewes Members Train on RIT & "Calling the Mayday" Skills Thu, Jul 25, 2013 June 10, 2013 The Lewes Fire Department Members in attendance practiced 4 methods of removing downed or injured firefighters from various types of roofs using portable ladders and a minimal amount of equipment. July 8, 2013 The Lewes Fire Department Members in attendance were put through a "Mayday" course in an acquired structure where they encountered various situations that warranted them to call a "Mayday" over their portable radio. The Maydays were acknowledged by a mock Incident Commander and the members were instructed to attempt a self removal from the situation.
