On Wednesday February 13, 2013, at approximately 1444 hours, the Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Coastal Highway in the area of Bay Crossing. Upon arrival, it was determined that two vehicles were involved with one patient. Crews performed fluid and debris clean up. One patient was transported BLS to Beebe Medical Center. Units remained on scene until approximately 1505 hours. Fire Police remained on scene assisting DSP until 1523 hours.

Units on scene: Engine 82-5, Rescue 82, Ambulances A & C 82, Traffic Control 82, DSFP and DSP. Engine 82-9 was returned prior to their arrival.
