Two Vehicle MVC snarls Saturday afternoon traffic - Coastal Highway ITAO Pier One

On Saturday August 11, 2012, at approximately 1744 hours, the Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Coastal Highway ITAO Pier One. Fire Chief Wally Evans responded to the scene and assumed command. It was determined to be a two vehicle collision with one patient. Crews performed fluid and debris cleanup and traffic control. One patient was transported BLS to Beebe. All fire apparatus and personnel cleared the scene at approximately 1807 hours.

 

Units on scene: Chief's Vehicle, Engine 82-9, Ambulances A & D 82, DSFP, and DSP. Rescue 82 was returned prior to arrival.
