Early morning T-Bone accident - Coastal Highway ITAO Bay Crossing

On June 30, 2012 at approximately 0721 hours, The Lewes Fire Department along with Medic 104 were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. Upon arrival of OIC Craig Reynolds, it was confirmed that two vehicles were involved with the possiblity of two patients. Upon the arrival of medical and fire crews, the patients were packaged and loaded while the fire crews performed vehicle stablilization, debris and fluid clean up and traffic control. Two patients were transported BLS to Beebe Medical Center. All fire apparatus was placed in service at approximately 0748 hours. Fire Police remained on the scene assisting DSP until approximately 0834 hours.

 

Units on scene: Command 82, Engine 82-5, Rescue 82, Ambulances A & D 82, Medic 104, DSFP, and DSP.
