The Annual Home Depot Safety Day was held Saturday October 1, 2011 at The Home Depot located on Delaware Highway One in Lewes, Delaware. The Lewes and Rehoboth Beach Fire Departments Apparatus were on display and members were available to answer questions. The Sussex County EMS Paramedic Unit was on display with personnel on hand to answer questions pertaining to Advanced Life Support. Agencies and equipment also represented include the Delaware State Fire School and the Life Net Helicopter. Home Depot had crafts for children to build inside the store.
