2 car crash mass casualty incident with entrapment - Coastal Highway area of Nassau Bridge

Lewes Fire Department was dispatched at 11:33 for a 2 car crash with multiple patients and extrication needed. Engine 82-5 with Deputy Chief Steve Evans arrived on scene and assumed command. Rescue 82 was assigned extrication, 82-5's assisted with extrication and patient care. 11 patients were triaged and transported to Beebe Medical Center, Milford Memorial Hospital, with the patient extricated being flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center via DSP Trooper 2. The scene was placed under control at 12:17. Units on scene; E82-5, R-82, E82-3, B-82, C-82, 82-8, 82-12, B-85, B-83, Hart to Hart, Sussex County EMS units; Medics 104, 108, EMS 100, EMS 200, and Delaware State Police Trooper 2.
