One of twin Mack engines purchased in 1975. 1000 GPM pump and a 750 gallon booster tank. Involved in one of most serious accidents in LFD History as it was rearended by 82-1 in Nov. 1983 injuring several firemen.

1972 Mack/Swab Heavy Rescue
In January 1972 Lewes Fire Dept. placed this Mack with a Swab Custom Rescue Body in Service. At that time one of two Hurst tools In Sussex County was placed in service on this unit. This truck was Refurbished in 1991 and was replaced in October of 2004 with a new Seagrave Rescue/Engine
