The Lewes Fire Dept. Auxiliary has partnered with local restaurants to kick off Fire Prevention Week. Bethany Blues, Harbour, Sydney’s Restaurant, Matt’s Fish Camp, Crust and Craft, The Hideout, Beach Time Distilling have already committed to being “Thirst Extinguisher Partners" and will be donating a portion of the proceeds from a featured signature cocktail during the weekend of October 2 and 3. These restaurants will also be participating in a Thirst Extinguisher Throw Down and will have their Fire Prevention themed cocktail judged by the Cape Gazette Foodie Team. The winner will have the honor of displaying the Golden Fire Extinguisher trophy on their bar until Fire Prevention 2022.
