This morning at 0818 the Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to a minor vehicle accident involving a school bus in the area of Coventry Dr and Minos Conaway Rd. Sussex County EMS units Medic 104 and EMS 100 were also added to the box assignment. 82-8 with Assistant Chief Pignataro responded immediately along with both ambulances from our headquarters station. Units responding were advised that the RP reported no injuries and the school district had been notified. 82-8 arrived and Assistant Chief Pignataro assumed the command. After verifying no injuries on the scene units placed ALS in service and held other fire apparatus in quarters. Command was terminated and the scene turned over to the school district.
