For more than 7 years Duty Crew A has been staffing station 1 each week. Tonight was no different as 16 members staffed station 1 providing a full crew for the engine and ladder truck. Members began the shift at 1730 checking and cleaning the apparatus. The crew ate dinner together and cleaned the kitchen and bunk room. Training was held on building construction by visiting two buildings under construction in the first due area. Training concluded with an EMS drill on patient assessment and backboarding. During the shift the department handled an MVC in the early evening and a fire alarm in the early morning.
