On the morning of Jan 19th., Lewes Members trained on proper selection, donning, and doffing of various types of Marine Rescue PPE. The members were instructed how to select proper PPE based on water and air temperatures and Ice Rescue situations. The class was instructed by Marine Captain Tim McClanahan assisted by former U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer and Lewes Fire Department Member Keith Hines.
