On Monday August 13, 2012, at approximately 1228 hours, the Lewes Fire Department, Paramedics and Trooper 2 were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a Pick up truck and motorcycle collision. One patient was transported BLS to Beebe Medical Center. Crews performed debris clean up and traffic control. OIC Fire Chief Wally Evans returned all fire apparatus at approximately 1252 hours. Fire Police remained on scene assisting DSP until approximately 1304 hours.

Units on scene: Engine 82-5 & 82-9, Rescue 82, Ambulance A-82, Medic 104 & 106, DSFP and DSP. Trooper 2 was placed available upon their approach to the scene.
