At 1032hrs Lewes was dispatched to a reported truck fire on Rt1 North of 5 Points. 82-24 (Hazzard) first on scene reported a trash truck fire inside the container. Engine 82-5 was instructed to place a 1 3/4" CAFS line in service while the truck dumped its load onto the highway. The foam quickly extinguished the fire and the scene was placed under control at 1050hrs. Rt 1 traffic was backed up for 3 miles during the incedent.
