Edward "Eddie" Creadick joined Lewes Fire Department in May 1957 and was active throughout his time with the department holding the positions of Assistant Chief, Ambulance Lieutenant, and Board of Director He also served on many committees including Christmas party, new ambulance, and disciplinary. Eddie was awarded Chief Emeritus in 1995  and the Louis A Rickards Presidents Award in 2008. Eddie was honored as the Sussex County Firefighter of the Year in 2011. He worked as a machine operator for DuPont Company, and was very active as a member and usher at the Bethel United Methodist Church and as a volunteer at Beebe Hospital. 

Eddie will be greatly missed by his family, friends, Lewes Fire Department, Bethel United Methodist. Beebe Health Campus, and the community that he served. The Lewes Fire Department offers its deepest condolences to the Creadick family for their loss. Please keep the Creadick family in thought and prayer.
