Firefighters from Lewes, Milton, Rehoboth Beach, Indian River, Georgetown, Millsboro and Slaughter Beach along with Sussex County EMS responded to a structure fire at 31510 Madison Drive in Nesbitt Station Development north of Lewes this morning at approx. 0400hrs. Crews found a garage with vehicles in it, well involved in fire with extension into the home. The homes occupants escaped unharmed and no injuries were reported. Damage is extensive to the residence, with 4 vehicles and a boat also destroyed. Fire crews were on the scene for several hours controlling the blaze. The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.
